Nice selection of Austin gassers, I remember Oddy's and Ol Rumbleguts tearing up the track at Niagara, then running Cayuga as well. Those cars always put on a great show. That caused me to start a build on a 50 Panel delivery, little did I know when I started that the rear half of the body was aluminum, and I got in so far over my head that it got sold well before it was close.......................Great memories here.

  14. Heres a Devon coupe and a Somerset fastback from the UK. I,ve had quite a few A40s, even had two Somerset convertibles at one time. Also an A70 Hereford pickup. Just about the only model i have,nt had would have to be an A90 Atlantic. Still have an A40 Countryman ( wagon ) Love 'em all but can,t keep 'em all. :(

  15. Finished this in June of 2011. Actually officially completed at 12:30am the day of its first race, the Hunnert Car Heads Up in Union Grove, WI. Had lots of fun at the Meltdown in Byron, IL in July.

  19. Is that yours now? This is the `glass one isn´t it?

  20. That,s right.Late 60's/early7o's it was all over the English magazine's and shows.Len Beech owns it now,and he is back on it;big time, neither of us are getting younger ..Pete Crane comes to mind;he either built it,or owned it in its twilight years.

Decided to not go cream color on the lettering. Instead I'm going copper, with black borders. Got the sign guy lined up, but it's pouring rain in Oregon and need to wait until things get drier to drive there to have them done.
    Weather break; got it finished!
