anybody know where I can get parts for a black and decker throatless shear

Looking for parts for this shear I need a set of blades and the foot that holds the blades.

It was discontinued years ago and I'm not having any luck tracking down parts.

It's a great little shear and I'd like to hang on to it but it's not much good in it's current condition.

I checked with black and decker, no luck.

I did manage to find a parts diagram and part numbers but no actual parts.

If anybody has a junk one for sale or if you know where I can get parts, please let me know.

try taking blades to local machine shop to have a set made shouldnt cost too much

 

Take a picture of the blades. Maybe they will be close enough to some you can still buy. My Makita are square, and you can rotate them to get a sharp edge.

 

Thanks guys, the blades I think I will eventually find or can have made.

I'm more concerned with the cracked shoe that holds the blades.

A buddy of mine had a similar one that he tried to weld and never had much luck with it.

I think it's hardened or some kind of alloy and doesn't weld very well.
