found the lmc truck pic advertising their 58/59 grills on page 41 of the on line catalog. it's just wrong in all ways. theirs ^^^ vs mine. same bumper bought from LMC 53 coe: nice freaking truck! i'd probably bed line anything like that, you know someone will step on it. the steps on a 55-59 cab are inside the door opening, they look better painted. a lot of guys carpet the step which gets wet and causes more rust, that is if it gets driven
Uncle Bob's have glued indoor/outdoor carpet. The same was covering the bed loosely and stunk of mildew - tossed it. Thanks - That's a sweet screaming yellow '58. First rig I ever drove was Dad's '58 Apache fleetside - rootbeer brown Maco paint job, 283 and muncie 4sp. It was banana yellow at one time too.
