Looks like we will be coming down to play! Where is the best place to get a reasonable room close by? Someplace truck and 24' trailer friendly.

    I corrected myself above.

  6. Here ya go:
If you have any problems with lodging, just search for motels, Grand and Bell Rds, Surprise, Az ....7-8 miles from track.

Is there anything going on in the greater Phx area Saturday afternoon/evening? I was planning to drive up Saturday and spend the night.

  8. Jim, there's a pretty large cruise night on Bell @ 67th ave. (west side)
It's in front of Kmart, behind Mixteca Mex food .
Come hungry, and have cocktail and a taco or two on the patio..Fun place!

Not sure if anything is going on Saturday, but I'll be thrashing to get the truck and the mini bike ready. You and anyone else for that matter is welcome to come hang out, drink beer, and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Bumping this up to the top 'cause tomorrow is the big day!!! I just talked to Spike a bit ago, and I unfortunately am not going to make it this time around. Between F****ing up my back in near Biblical proportions last week and catching a cold yesterday working in the rain to catch up, I just can't do it. Have fun everybody, and I'll see you all at the spring nats!

Thanks once again to Mark, Spike and crew for putting on a fun race.

I got tied up with some business in town and got there late. I missed the first round of eliminations so I made afew passes in my heap for time only.

Thanks to all braved the cool weather and came out to support our event,

It ended up being a beautiful sunny day. The cars sure liked the weather conditions quite a few people told me they were running their best et's ever. There were quite few new cars racing I had never saw before. Anyone know what that orange 37 Chevy Gasser ran? I never got a chance to see it make a pass.

My daughter Stephanie did me proud for her first time down the track, she went 3 rounds in the 1/8th mile Flag Drop competion running 8.13 @ 86 MPH in drive, she was having a blast, fist pumping during her run and all.

I'll post some more pics as I recieve them
