This adapter fits a sbc, what does it adapt to?

    What are the extra "ears" up top for? Looks like something rusty was bolted to the top two?

    Any chance it's marine?

    i was guessing boat also or maybe some sort of sprintcar in/out box.

    Looks like it would fit a Chevy as well asBuock/Olds/Pontiac wit the extra bolt holes up to...no clue to what transmission, looks too small to be early ford and I dont see a hole for a clutch fork.

    Wow i'da crossed that one off of my list first, all the boat drive stuff ive seen has been '39 ford pattern
