Sweeeeeet. The blaster just called and he's done! Looks like she's getting sealed on Saturday. That means a week to get the airride in and a week to get the windshield in.

Alright, here we go. I even included some pics of me with a spray gun in my hands...thats the only thing scarier than me with a welder in my hand:rolleyes:

The blaster did a great job, Brian and I cleaned a couple of little things up, I finally removed the center pillar from the windshield opening and we got to blowing it out.. Damn that media get EVERYWHERE!!!. Took like 1.5 hours to get it pretty clean, and I still got some crap coming out while I was spraying.

We even had enough time to get the hood, decklid and one door hung before we had to bail. Should be in decent shape by the end of the week, then I just need to get at least the new gas tank in it so I can take it to Tri Valley glass for the windshield.
Still fantasizing about getting the air ride done by the 17th, but I don't want to push my luck.

So true! Of course I also can see all of the hard work that still has to be done. Some of the stuff that didn't look to bad now looks pretty nasty, but its all part of the process, I am learning.

Thanks Mo, I am really happy with the peak also

New tank and modified trunk floor done. I have a very nice spare tire well that I saved if anybody needs one.

Talked to Tony at Tri Valley Glass today, looks like it might happen late next week for the windshield...But its a longshot as he has a few others ahead of mine. So I guess it will be an 11th hour deal if I do make it to Gambinos with it. I'll be there either way

Need opinions...drip rails or no? I have been wanting to keep them, but now I am thinking that the car might look smoother without them. Thoughts?

Erik, what did you do with the gas tank? Looks like its sitting on the tank flange in the pic. Looks good. 1 vote for drip rails.

Yeah, its a mustang/universal tank from TanksInc. Designed to mount on the flange. Removed the spare well, and made a piece to fill it in. Trimmed it up and its good to go. A little wider, but not as deep so I gained a bunch of ground clearance for the bags. Thanks for the vote on the rails!
