new guy with a 49 Ford 254 M-series I-6

Hello. I've acquired a 1949 Ford 254CID M-Series straight six and I'm in the process of bringing it back to life to put into a hot rod that I am fabricating. Searching for parts and info on the web, I kept getting hits from HAMB members with good info. So here I am. It sure is hard to find parts and info for this engine. I'm hoping to learn and maybe find some parts from the membership. Regards, John
