Hey guys, Been lurking for a while...but just got a sign on. Does anyone know of a guy in the North Georgia area that has a bunch of Ford F1's? Supposedly there is someone in the area. I've got a semi Rat Rod '51 F1 and need some glove box door hinges. Basically doesn't matter what condition, I'm just tired of the glove box rattling around on the floor! Thanks, G BTW...HillTopRodShop is just the name of my retro looking, barn shop/garage built out of rough cut knotty white pine...not a real business. Several members from D ville on the hamb. I recall a place called "Standard Speed Shop" in Dawsonville.. I bought some Ford parts from him and his sons about 40 years ago.. I always wondered if that family did any good??
I've never heard of the place but I'm only a young (ha!) 51 years old. I'll check around and see what I turn up. I'll likely be up at the Dawsonville Varsity for their Tuesday evening cruise that goes year round. I'll be in a very ratty primer red '51 Ford F1...if anyone from the area sees this post...come on by! Thanks, G
Welcome! I'm over in gainesville. As far as F1 parts I would check with Larry at North GA hotrods in cumming. He might know since he likes to fool around with those F1's also. I can get you the number to the his shop if you want it. Nice barn!
Hey what's up G/HillTop? Hey man, I didn't know you where on here. Huckle, I'm in Gainesville also. Are you going up to the Varsity Jr. in Dville tonight. They have a cruise-in ever Tuesday night.
