    I believe that is the best chop of a fleetline I've ever seen. Congrats, can't wait to see it finished and in color.

    I have done a little body work ,, and knowing what little that I do ,,,, you did a great job,, I only wish I had half of your talent ...... and you seem to know how to make those lines flow together ..................

  15. Thats a great looking chop man........ I've got a '49 Fleetline with a chop top......... I want to do stuff like that for a living........ but anyway, looks really good and I'd like to see more progress on it too..........

    Owned by a guy named steve here in the dallas area. A few people here might know him. Hes got a few bitcin cars in his stable.

    I can't believe its been 2 years since me and markx did that car.

    Last I saw it was at a very top secret location being worked on by those who run with a very fast crowd. The people your mother warned you about.

  25. i have one too that i have been wanting to chop, if u do it ur self and have all the tools to do it the only cost will be the sheet metal to fill in the inside quarters and the filler panel to make up the difference from the top being moved forward

    I liked this car so much I bought it from the 2nd owner (after being chopped). I'm gonna drive it around Venice, Calif. It has a big block and some other mechanical upgrades now. I understand Mr. Rawlings wants it back, so contact me if that's the case. My plan is to remove the Gas Monkey art or put some different art in that spot. I will keep the other Gas Monkey logos on the seats, etc. I want to get one skirt for it, if anyone around here knows about skirts or applying art on cars, please let me know. Thanks.
