    Hello Folks,

Just want to say hello. I live in southern california, and currently restoring a 1960 impala 2dr hardtop. Doing a low-rod with a ls1 /4l60e combo.

hope to make some friends who enjoy cars as i do.

  5. Welcome from SoCal. That's going to be killer when it's done. I had a 60 Impala in the late 60's. Wish I still had it.

Hi- Glad to hear you're working on 60 Impala. I hope the before and after of my are some inspiration for you. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I worked on mine for almost a year to get it ready for the road. It's just a driver quality restoration since it's a daily driver. For example, I cut out rust in the floors and trunk and made patches with aluminum and/or fibreglass (but with POR15 instead of resin...works great when rust is an issue where you are patching).
