Many guys would say not to chop the top of a coupe. Drop it first and take a look. You might agree!

Not too keen on the smooth dash... but ill wait till youre finished...

Ill keep watching to see where youre going with this.

Are there any cars already built that kind of display what youre going after?

Tread lightly, Grasshopper, you're entering modern Hotrodsville.....people here will start snubbing you! (ie. NO digital guages in the dash!)

My first car was a '52 Chevy so I have a soft spot :)

  7. I want the dash to look similar to Pete wittenberg's 1958 chevy apache in ol skool rodz May 2011.

  8. so, I went ahead last night and cut the top and work today putting things back together. I chopped the front 3 inches and the back 4 inches, I extended the catwalk about an inch. Check out the pictures.

  17. I have ground welds all day saturday and sunday, started plugging up the trim holes for the door trim and quarter panel trim today. should have those pretty well ground down today.
I was going to cant the door post's but have decide to leave them vertical, that means I am going to have to get some door parts. found a couple of cars here for sale from $400.00 to $800.00 with lots of good parts.

That car looks bitchin, nice work. Can't wait to see more as time goes on.

  23. I have the top just about finished, one more door to finish up and I will start on the rest of the body work. I decided to go with some 8" coilover shocks in the rear. I am shaving the chrome off the car totally so if some one needs it for a traditional restoration let me know.

  26. Just about finished up with the drivers side door post and door, I still have a bit of welding to finish. all the trim holes are welded up now should have it smoothed up by the weekend and we will spray some primer and start wet sanding.
