I've only got one tudor, and half a coupe. But I hope to improve.

I always heard there were only about 2000 production sedan deliveries and I am proud to own one of them. But, if you look, it seems that a '40 sedan delivery must be the most prevalent hot wheels model ever turned out in different paint schemes.

Congratulations to The-Rodster,the only one that answered the question of production figures, who has what was not the question.

    lots were made.. lots survived..

I've no idea what production was on cars but wagons are documented with a body number, i believe there were about 8800 woodie wagons built in 40.. this includes both standard and deluxe..

  15. I've always liked the '40. was going to buy one when I was in High School but couldn't get the money up for it. $2500 for this and think what it would cost now.

Wanted one since I was 18 years old and this is what I ended up with after importing into Australia as a body shell in 1990, took 15 years to finish and have been driving the wheels off it since

As they say, a work in progress and slow going at that. My first 40 build, kind of learning as I go. It's going to be a driver so i'm not real concerned about originality.
