I'm thinking about putting on a shop night this winter. I've got an old Chrysler we could chop.

    Anyone interested?

No Joke from Upstate. Brutal Taxes in N.Y. I would like to cut all 5 Buroughs Off, and let them Sink or become another State.

    Count me in, sometimes anyway.

Additional clues you are a New Yorker:

You don't say "hoar", you pronounce it "who-err".

West of the Hudson is California.

North of the Bronx is Upstate.

East of Long Island is England.

Northeast of Long island is Boston.

    Long Island is "the Island".

You don't live IN Long Island, you live ON Long Island.

Similarly, you don't stand IN line, you stand ON line.

South of NY is DC or Florida.

The best cup of coffee ("regular": milk and two sugars) costs $1.00 from any street vendor in midtown Manhattan. Tastes even better on a cold winter day.

NYC has the best water. Hands down. Period.

Staten Island is part of the city, but it really isn't. And it's the only borough that charges admission.

One common fallacy: everybody from NY does not know each other.

Finally, the only good bagel is a boiled bagel. Not those fluffed up bread-balls sold in other parts of the country.

the hamlet of state bridge, talk about blink and your thru....

i must be in the epi-center of the state, because when you travel in any direction from my place, the towns/villages/cities get progressively larger, lol.

Become another state? No one flies into to New York to visit Herkimer County, they come to New York to visit New York City.
