Who's going to the SUNDAY SWAP in Braselton, GA Brad said he was stuffing thousands of flyers - it should grow some more. Who do you want to meet there?
1,500 fliers, actually. Man, what a pain! The most disturbing thing about it wasn't the over 12 hours stuffing, sealing, labeling and putting the stamps on the envelopes--the most disturbing thing was that $555 worth of stamps doesn't weigh as much as a bag of Doritos! Metalflaked--Tocoa is a pretty easy drive to it. PBR gave the mileage, but I've ended up in Tocoa before I realized it more times than I can remember (I live in Jefferson). -Brad

Told ya' before I had a banjo rear. It's a '47 with a 3.78 gear. Complete from axle nut to axle nut. Emergency brake cables are there but have been cut. Spring still has the sheetmetal factory wrap w/grease fittings. Have the complete front end out of the same car.
It's almost unbelievably easy to get there: I-85 to exit 129. Exit 129 is Hwy 53--Braselton, Ga. It's the same exit as Year One, Road Atlanta and Lanier Speedway. Go WEST on Hwy 53. Drive 4.4 miles, and we're on the right hand side of the road. See you guys sundaySundaySUNDAY! -Brad I just gave all my spare money (and a lot of not-so-spare money) to the Post Master General, but what kinda SBC race parts from the old days you got, Deuce?

Modified Driver - do you have the phone number of that guy that was hanging out with us to the bitter end last swap? I lost what he gave me - he was allright - I need to give him a call.
Don't think I do. I think I gave him mine, but that doesn't help ya'. I'll have to check the truck and stuff.
I think I'm coming out but want some opinions. I can either bring out a '53 Victoria or a 46, 47'ish p'up (haven't looked close enough to tell which) but don't have a trailer to bring both. What would you bring? The Vicky has a dent in the roof and a little rust around the drip rails, needs a new hood and major work on the front fenders but is a fixable car with good glass and lots of good chrome (stainless). It has a V8 of some sort (haven't checked it out real good, I got it in a package deal and it wasn't what I was after) and the shifter has been swapped to the floor (all done "back in the day") The p'up is pretty rough, but with lots of work could be salvaged, would prolly be a better parts ride. It's an old paving Co.'s p'up so the bed has a metal floor, and the chrome is not chrome. It has a flatty with a "granny gear" tranny and (I'm told) a 9" rear. Whatcha think??
yah- I do now! I will work something out for sure. I need to get with Harisson to pick up my wheels. I sent him a PM - I just never knew if anything was for certain with this. Now I see it is - that is cool.
Brad...Sounds like you doing a good job of promoting...I worked my ass off the five years I did my swaps...it DOES pay off...I'm in Atlanta today but I'm going to miss it again....but you're sure to see that black Peterbilt again....
