This conversation came up today and got me wondering. In terms of production numbers whats the rarest car owned by a HAMB member. Sure 32 3 windows are hard to come by but they are not considered rare. Unless you're trying to own one. I have friends with Lincoln Zephyr's but even they are not really rare in terms of production numbers.

I'll offer up my Friends 1940 Chevy Sloper. It's been documented that this car is 1 of 149 ever produced. I'd guess that out of those 149 there's really only a handful around. So whats more rare than that.

Oh please include your home address and combination to the garage alarm. Just in case we're in the area with an empty trailer :D

HaHa yeah I thought about that afterwards. I'm thinking Handy Andy and Truck and Coupe are in a league of their own. 1 of 3 is pretty hard to imagine. I'd be scared to drive the dand thing.

  9. Nice to know that that joke, used by my Dad for years is also used on the other side of the planet!

James, did you find out how/why that sloper ended up in your neck of the woods?

I would love to say I have something rare hiding in the garage, that would get you all excited, asking for pictures and saying "wow". Sadly I don't :(

My guess would be Guffey's 64 Hemi Dodge raced by the RAMCHARGERS 1 of 2 factory 64 Dodge A/FX cars and the first 426 Hemi.

Putting all jokes aside, the rarest is the one that you couldhave built, but didn't.

I think there is a bit more than the truth to that. But that is why this bunch is so much fun. We are more about the building than having it finished.

Guess my '66 Studebaker Wagonaire isn't even close in this company.
    It's one of 938, and only one of 640 with a V8.
