    Hey;

    The SDC Nats are in South Bend for '12. July 29 - Aug 4.

    If you want to get the lips-a-flappin', the May meet, May 4-5, is a great start. Both are well worth going to.

    I'd be real happy to see it there.

    Marcus...

    Maybe we can catch up to you at Edgewater or Tri State some weekend. We race over there a few times a year. Love to see it make a pass.

    I love unusual bodies on gassers. You're doing a great job on that one, and it looks fast just standing still.

    That's a dead nuts build. I'm digging it, a lot. If you're ever in the Walled Lake/Commerce Area in Michigan, you should take it to Ed Koffel's (The builder of the 'Flinstone Flyer')'s shop. I'd make sure to stop by.

    Maybe you and my pal Todd will meet up at one of the Gasser/Altered drag races. Todd's getting his '66 Altered Rambler together as we speck! Running a 360 AMC engine (plans for a 401 AMC later).
    Check it out....attached!

    The picture was taken at Lions Drag Strip in 1972. Named "The Deceptive Lark" The car was the gasser class record holder at one time. Stude powered. Howards Cams sponored. Street driven for the year before it was gutted and raced full time. Raced at Lions every weekend but one in 1972. Even let my 14 year old brother drive it. His first pass down the track. He's been hooked ever since.

    My latest build. Just getting started. Rounded up a disc front axle and a Mopar 8 3/4 rear axle with leafs and hangers. I have a 7000 rpm 259 Studebaker engine out of my Bonneville Avanti, Borg Warner T10 4 speed, Zoomies and more surprises. When I start on it next year I will post the build here on the HAMB.

    I don't have pictrues but I once built a Lark with 25% engine set back and a 1963 Max Wedge Crossram 426 and Torqueflite under the dash. To short a wheelbase to be safe back then but a lot of fun. Can't wait to see your car in person. It will bring back some great memories.

    This is one of the most bad ass different builds I have seen on here in a while!
    Should pull some nice wheelies with that much set back.
