hi! after selling my first hot rod that i started collecting things for at the age of 18 i just needed a new project.. 2 days after i sold my 1925 dodge with a 327, modified body, handmade grille, etc, etc. i started on my hot rod number 2! a friend of mine sold me an fiberglass 27 roadster for about 550 dollars. i bought an stroked 327 sbc built for dragracing, a th350, a 9inch rear axle and then i started building the frame rails.. a couple of weeks later i had a rolling chassie with engine, transmission and body i the garage.. alot of work remains, but now is when the funny work begins. posting some pics, more & more & more pics are comming.. (if you search for "flying grinders" or "flying grinders hot rod club" on youtube you are gonna find some small movies from my latest car) updating ASAP.. waiting for alot of stuff for my front end (slow shipping from USA to sweden) hope ya like it..
I love the mock-up stage of building a car. What a blast to see all the parts coming together. Am not sure where you are going with the headlamps. Will be patient and await your updates. Good looking dog by the way. All the best, Dale K Cleveland OH
thanks! hopefully the cars is gonna be awesome.. and that little husky girl is my true little helper! my old car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L9IzMnHJ3A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89nC7-4nB0A&feature=related it started out like this: http://www.youtube.com/user/slimkimtattoo#p/a/u/0/bzcRn5FIdZI and with this car i have alot of more experience.. hopefully it´s gonna turn alot of heads around.. the style i´m looking for is a salt flat roadster painten in the sixties, some kind of balance between race & custom hot rod.. alot of brass & aluminum..
