The Edsel wagon that's missing it's roof skin, looks familiar. Is it in a yard near LaSalle/Peru ILL.?

  6. does anyone want to help me build a really really big shed where we can store all these cars/trucks/bikes before the earth claims them?

I havent added anything to this thread in awhile so I thought I wouold toss this on here, dont ask its not for sale right now, and when it does come up for sale, which I think will be in the spring I already have a buyer for the car lined up. It will be going to a HAMB member. Jim

This is a wagon that a friend of mine has, it was kinda funny, we were sitting around talking one day andhe said "hey I have a couple old cars I forgot about them, you want to see them?" So we go way out back and there is this wagon and a 52 ford one ton truck, both from AZ but have been sitting here for about the last 30 years so getting some floor rust, the wagon has 318 with auto P/S, P/B and A/C, kind cool car.

'57 Turnpike Cruiser. Cool car, way over the top. My older brother had given me a '58 Monterey, I think it was. One of my first cars.

I'll bring all the left handed nails!

Most of my stuff sits outside and I hate that fact, but I am so glad that they decay waaaaay slower here then a lot of other places, plus I take care of them and keep the grass short... it's a lot of work but a good cause.

This '55 was sitting behind a WWII Army warehouse in Dutch Harbor Alaska. Even had a military ID sticker on the bumper.

It was converted to run on rails tracks and where they all are was the 'end of the line' for the trains and then the cars.

  23. Bob,

Those are the stock rims- they had a split ring to hole the tires on. Converting it would be as simple as taking off the tires/rings :)

Man I've seen the '55s in Coral and Gray, but never an all Coral one w/a Gray roof? Kinda neat. I LOVE this pic BTW....something about it has me staring more than a few seconds....

This is what happens when you park on the beach far from the water, then go for a walk. Only to realize too late that tide was coming in when you left. Seen it a few times.
