Hey there HAMBers... I recently just came into hands with a 1/2 ton chevy truck. I am looking to airbag this puppy and needed some advice ob the easiest way to do this. It still has all original drivetrain in it, and I have seen that it has leafs in the front as well as the back. I am new to all the airbag mumbo jumbo about clips and 4 links and what not... What will I need to do to this truck to make airbags work for me being able to drop this truck on it's frame. I appreciate all your help fellas!!!

  2. swap in a IFS and 4 link or 3 link. Or swap in a s10 frame.

Ok... I guess I should ask what is the best and easiest "clip" to weld in on the front?

With a mustang 2 ifs and a three link or four link in the rear it will lay running boards with no problem. But if it is still a closed driveshaft you will have to convert to open driveline. My 50 ford truck still has the original engine in it but I put a T5 behind it and an S10 rearend.
