this grill came with the '36 ford truck i bought. i just would like to know what kind of car it came off. i believe its late 20's ford? anyone know?
. Looks similar to whippet but not 100% convinced. The whippet line of cars was more or less a small/downsized alternative to the Willy's. In that respect, whippet shells are fairly small when compared to others of the day. I don't have the measurements handy but the 26 whippet shell I have is wider at the bottom than the top and is nicely rounded, all in a nice compact size. A guy might have luck looking thru carnut's pics: http://carnut.com/photo/list/list.html .
Old toolmaker I worked with back in the '80s used to say "a duck will walk a mile to crap on concrete".
