History do you know what this grille is?

    this grill came with the '36 ford truck i bought. i just would like to know what kind of car it came off. i believe its late 20's ford? anyone know?

    Looks similar to whippet but not 100% convinced.
    The whippet line of cars was more or less a small/downsized alternative to the Willy's.
    In that respect, whippet shells are fairly small when compared to others of the day.
    I don't have the measurements handy but the 26 whippet shell I have is wider at the bottom than the top and is nicely rounded, all in a nice compact size.
