I remember doing a regular local program at Dayton once, and Don climbing the flagstand to talk to me. During the late model trophy dash, the third and fourth place car touched and spun down into the infield on the second turn of the last lap. I stayed green, and threw the checker along with the yellow. The crowd didn't like it.

He wanted to know why I didn't throw the yellow. I said, "We presumably had the four best drivers in the class out there, and I figured two of them could make three quarters of a lap and then slow down without any problems." He thought about it for a minute, then shook my hand. He then went over and gave the announcer my answer, and the crowd applauded.

I like the Chrysler race cars from the earlier posts. We need to see more if anyone has them. Not too many of them used. Allstarracing

I have just discovered that one of the drivers for Don after Larry Moore was John Vallo.

    Thanks!

Who's car is this? I can't make out the name on the roof.

    Thanks.

  27. I will take a stab at it and say it is Herschal White from Indianapolis who always ran a modified white in color and numbered 47
