Sneak peak Copper Head

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by EXK, Nov 5, 2011.

  1. The Copper Head merc has been in the makings for a very long time and keeps getting pushed to the back of the line but recently we were asked to get it to SEMA if possable. As always making a living seem's to get in the way of all my stuff and we did not make it but it atleast got some way overdue attenchion. Hopefully we can keep plugging along and will be able to cruise it to the Nationals

I'm blown away by this Mercury! I LOVE the bumpers, hell everything. That car has some personality to it , which is hard to capture, but in my eyes you did it. It looks like something I would draw, always knowing you couldn't pull it off in reality. WICKED!:D

That is Krazy Kool! I remember seeing those headlight before when you showed some progress awhile back. They remind me of the killer in the Scream horror movie. I mean that in a good way.

  17. Hey James Thanks, Your Caddy is looking awsome. The motor is not HAMB friendly. Right now it has a little 335hp Ford DOHC V8. I already built a 5.7 DOHC with plans on making a 6 duce intake for it that should have around 475hp and a real nice tone to the exaust

Thanks for the kind words Rick. Sorry about the big ass picture. I'll delete it if you like. I just wanted a better look at the car. I might have to steal your idea on the reverse gills in the hood. That is too kool man.

Hi Rick cars looking great just asking do you put a hidden door release on your cars you build if the door solenoid ever fails.

  21. Please leave it big. My nefuw tryied to teach me how to post pics big but i am not a fast learner.

I have wanted to do this flip flop style of scoop for many of years but when i tryed to explaine how it would flow to a customer they just looked at me like i was on crack. Now you can see they where right

That flat spins my wheels. A "different" chopped Merc that while being different than the norm still is obviously a 51 Merc. I really like the special things you did with it.

  23. Great things take time, that's an awesome build.

That thing is insane!!! That looks like something satan would chase u in. It looks like it would feed on small children and animals! It looks like if a dog came near it and was going to piss on the tires, it would just eat it whole...

What color is that?! I love it!!! What brand?single stage?primer? I would greatly appreciate it!!!

  28. Thats funny you would say that. I have a customer who literally will not walk directly in front of it.

It's in a kustom mix of Sikkens metalic bases. I wanted the body mods to pop so we put a hint of pearl in it to help with that.

  29. That thing is KILLER.....The color is right on.
