  7. Boones -

Nick is correct ... it's the latest "Derelict" from the guys @ ICON:

click thumbnails to read the autoblog articles about it

EDIT: I see now that there's already a HAMB thread about it: ICON Derelict.

the "Orange Deuce Coupe" is Phil Becker's and it is a custom-mix DuPont Chroma Premier single-stage butterscotch - find more info in January 2012 issue of Street Rodder magazine

The "Orange" more like Mustard/Butterscotch color 32 is my Dad's car. Built by Dave Lane. His name is Phil Becker from Dwight, Illinois

Here is a run down on some of the goodies...

    • Hood is pied at the beltline 3/8" in front and the grille shell is dropped slightly
    • Stock gas tank and spreader are curved to match the back of the body. with fabricated aprons to match.
    • 1932 license place with 2 letters cut out to make it a little less wide.
    • brake enclosers to make the front discs look like juice brakes.
    • The shifter is the Cowl Vent handle the cowl vent is actually on an electric motor.
    • And there is a ton more check out Dave Lanes website http://fastlanerodshop.com
Here are a couple pics the first one does the color better justice

It is also true Phil and Dave are about the nicest guys you could ever meet.

Nice documentation Malcolm! I was there on Tuesday and Wednesday, and I feel like I saw about half of what you took pics of. It's so hard to take everything in because there is so much going on. Wish we could have gotten together, but I was there to work not play. Maybe next year I can plan ahead and meet more HAMBers.

  22. Just to add to the festivities, I was there this week. There are more than 700 pictures here:

    LINKOLA

I had a great time. Saw a lot of great stuff. Saw a lot of really bad stuff, too, but mostly great stuff. :)

  23. Thanks for the awesome pictures! That 27 roadster is so sick!

It would've been awesome to see the cars leave! We had to head home on Friday morning, though.
    I don't gamble, so didn't spend a dime in the casinos :)

Would have been really nice to meet you. Sorry I didn't get a chance to. We weren't at SEMA on Friday; had to head back home.
Thanks for the great photos! A million times better than my cell phone pics :)

Would've been cool to finally meet you! Maybe next year...

I think my friend, Andy (cal1954 on here) knew who the builder of that bike was. He may be able to add a little info.

    Thanks for the extra photos!

This was built by Bryan (sp?) Fuller and featured on tv show Cafe Racer. He also did one for himself on Two Guys Garage that is insane.
