Good score, I like it. Glad to see Pennsylvania has finally come out of the dark ages and is allowing hot rods on the roads. That was the main reason I left Pittsburgh............well, that, and the snow. :D

Keep us posted on how it is going.

Stang front end doesnt do it either.

  16. Well, sounds like a pretty dumb thing to take a car (at no doubt a bargain price) without a title. yea dumb like a fox. ;)

Looks like an easy change a couple of things on the road type of a project. Will like to see it rolling under its own power.

I like the wheels, tires, paint and drive it idea. Screw the straight axle and making it another useless poser gasser that will never get driven.

  18. Exactly. I am not a big Pinto front end fan myself but it is already there and the Willys couldn't weigh much more than a Pinto.

I can see it with 22" wheels and rubber band tires. Then paint Wheaties or something like that on the side. Just kidding, congrats, wish it was mine!

  20. Keep us all posted on your progress...I'm building a '36 4-dr. About 2/3 done.

They don't all have to be nosebleed gassers - here's mine at the Antique Nats....

  25. I'd cut the back off, use the front clip & front doors and make a pickup out of it.

  26. Good Idea...but not that sedan, it's near perfect. Plenty of rough body shells for pickups.

Hell yeah. Gasser, and actually RACE it. That's my opinion anyway. Either way the steering wheel needs to make its way to the trash.

Would love to see this end up as a steet driven hot rod. Plenty of Willys gasers out there. This is really a sweet looking car. Best of luck on the finish up. p.s. exwestracer: yesterday at the hardware store I saw, yes, Duck brand flamed duct tape, or leapord print , or sebra, or Go Big Red Ne. tape. In-F'n-sane!! ~sololobo~

  30. It would take years to get a title for it here in NC. Good score man!
