This is the first car I've ever owned that I could use as a Halloween prop! No, that's not me in it... but all the kids kept wondering if that was a real person or a dummy. I think next year I'll do the same thing but dress up myself and scare everyone :) It was a huge hit as is though... had a lot of fun with the kiddies this Halloween.

I love the Pontiac. Lucky you are in that though. If you were in a 89 Buick LeSabre or a minivan and that get up I think the Neighborhood anti hooligan halloween patrol would have to send you off towards the Richie Rich side of town.

Or toss you over the bridge into the river.:D:D:D:D:D

We had a hairy 220 lb dude about 35 years old knock on the door in a size 8 bunny out fit with black high heels at about 9 PM. Fairly nasty to watch him saunter down the stairs with his 2 packs of Reeses Pieces in those splitting black fish nets.

No photos allowed. He screamed this as he left the porch like a 13 year old girl. Didn't want to set him off so we obliged.:p

Lol, just to clarify I am wearing a fat suit.

sgtlethargic, I eased off my lawn rather undramatically the next morning and those tubes were inspired by the George Barris batmobile. Not sure what they were for but it gave me an excuse to use the crappy chrome caliper paint I've had laying around for about ten years.
I'm gonna have to show my kid that red batmobile, he'll get a kick outta that.

That looks cool with the lighting, I might try something like that next year.

  21. Ha!
    Yeah, it is your lawn.
I saw the organ pipes on the Batmobile when I looked it up on Wikipedia and found the red one.

One more question: you just dress your car up for Halloween or ...?

Yep, just for halloween. I was tempted to leave the stuff on for a couple of days though, people were really getting a kick out of it. You should have seen the kids faces when I picked my son up from school.
