Sorry...I didn't formally introduce myself, Hello from Houlton Maine

Hello from Houlton Maine. I was born in 1961 and around 1965 to 1969 My Father took me to a Dirt Stock car circle track on Sundays, and he would take his 8mm movie camera and film the races. and I would sit on the roof of our 1955 Chevy 2 door wagon so I could see the old race cars flying around the Dirty and dusty track. I never got over the noise of the cars and engines. Then my Father owned his own Texaco Gas and Service station from 1971 to 1978. I was only 10 years when he opened it and and 17 when he closed it, so cars became my biggest focus at that time because I worked there after school and weekends.Then of course the movie American Grafitti came out and I was at the right age to be influenced by John Milner and the famous 32 Ford 5/w coupe ...so the hunt began for a 1932 ford coupe...it took me many years and lots of hard work and I now have many Hotrods and I think they are great...I love all old cars and trucks from years gone by...and I would rather drive an old one then a new one. and I truely belive that Mine is not better than yours and yours is not better than mine. I appreciate all the work that goes into anyones Hotrod and if they like it and are having fun!!! Thats all that matters...
