heres some photos from phone camera me and my son took. We had a good time, talked to Rich about his recently restored roadster, saw the Iron Lords hanging out. Turn out was down, but it didn't matter to us.

The '27 Chrysler belongs to Larry Shoaf of Rodcrafters in Welcome, NC. He's the father of HAMBer "Slide".

    The Willys is very nice.

That Willys was a local drag car around here many years ago, The guy that rebuilt it did an excellent job putting back to it's present condition.

Not sure if I like the present wheel and tire combo tho.

Damn! I sure miss my Econoline vans and pickups :(

  23. Great pics! Flat, you picked some mighty fine cars there! Nice coverage!

The weather was nasty right up to show time, then it started to clear up really quick. Breeze stuck around all day keeping the chill in the air, but it ended up being sunny enough to get a sunburn on my neck and cheeks.

I just hate I had to leave when I did!

Trucked Up, Eric had a great time for you! Enjoy vicarously! :D

I should also mention that the Iron Lords got us all primo parking in the Suede and Chrome section. It was really nice parking my POS on pavement.

I dig the choice for number one if it did not have those stupid wheels on it...

Well, wish I would have been able to walk around more and look seeings how it will be my last year there but if it did not drive past my booth than I never got to see it. A huge congrats to Jason Graham on another win and the Econoline Pickup was a class act. just loved it.

They make tourque thrust wheels in an 18in or 20 in and they dont belong on a 60's style car. in my opinion. This car is a very cool kustom and i just think wide whites and steelie wheels would look better than this. If they were real astros in a 14 or 15 inch wheels them yes this style wheel and tire combo would look good. Like I said though. Its just my opinion.
