I ran L-78s on this car till you could see the air through the rubber, have to say it did drive much nicer when I put radials on it. What to do eh [I'm canadian, we always say eh]

Mercjurij, are Goodyear Super Cushions easily available in Germany or did you import them yourself?

I installed 7.10 Firestones on my Merc today. I like them a lot but they raised my car and I'm going to have to drop the front a bit to make up for the increase in tire diameter.

I have G-78's on my '56 F100 but they look kinda big.... I'll know more in the spring when I get to drive it.

My '52 Pontiac is getting some 775X15's.... got a good deal on 'em.

I wish I could fit a bigger tire up front. Damn Camaro clip. I do love the big tire look though...

Like I said previously, I have 7.60s on my car as thats what it came off the line with. To me the 3" white wall doesn't look big enough. Now I can see why the 7.10s would be a better choice. A. they make the car lower B. smaller tire = more white wall.

I have a 54 Chrysler that has G75's at the moment and want to go for something wider. Glad I came across this thread. Plenty of great info. So since I will be lowering it soon I wanted to get a bigger white. Has anyone tried the 6.70 Goodyears? Are they smaller in height than the 7.10's? but have the same 4+ inch whites?[IMG]
