What cleans stainless- on my 55 DeSoto Grill

  1. Just installed the DeSoto Grill in my Shoebox Ford ---

    *What should i use to clean/shine my Stainless? (Teeth are Chrome)

    * Also -what not to use/what will harm it?

    Chrome polish, SS is chrome just in solid form.

    kitchen stainless cleaner is good for bugs and grime,foaming stuff in the cans the best

    WD-40 and scotch brite, coarse, medium then fine. Try it on your stainless sink first, it will surprise you...

    Buffing wheel and compound. Clean and polish all at once! :D

    This piece was all hazy and gross (along with all the rest of the trim), a little time on the buffing wheel and it's as good or better than new.

    Nev R dul it an impregnated cotton wadding product sold now through eagle 1 brands of car care products.

    Bon Ami kitchen cleanser works well also.
