Hi all. This is not my first post, but I introduce myself here. I'm from the central NY area. I've been into rods for a long time. My current ride is a 32 5w. Before that was a 30 5w. Durring the day, I'm a mechanical engineer for a medical company. I have a fairly compleate shop, do all my oun design and building, except paint and interior. I like to design and build small gas and steam engines also. That's about it.
Welcome from another fairly new guy in Texas. I don't hardly ever post anything, but am on here several times a day looking, dreaming, wishing, and drooling about all the neat "toys" everyone has and builds. That train you have on here is neat as hell !!!! Do you have any other sites you are on that might have it on with some info about it ?
Welcome from Kansas and glad you found this sight. Tons of useful information on her. I love you shop....looks like a doctor's office.
Grouch- the loco is for 7.25 gage track. You can ride behind it. It's propane fired. Bilt- I do like a clean shop. It get's dirty, but I stop the project at a good time and clean up, then on to the next thing. Sid
Welcome!! Now you are official! LOL Like the others said "nice shop" love the little Loco, any video of it running?
Thanks- No, no videos. Unfortunately, I sold that loco. I realy regret doing that too. The guy that bought it was after me for a year. I had just begun to gather parts for my 32, so at the time it seemed like good thing to do. He sold it to another fellow, and I have not seen it at any of the model engineering shows that I go to. Sid
hey sid ,welcome from a god damn down state guy. read your first post and saw you got banged pretty hard for no intro, gave me a laugh, not to worry its a right of passage, however since you didnt post an intro, you are now required to buy adult beverages for ALL hamb members and give all a ride on that cool train..thanking you in advance
OK, speedy, if your ever up this way let me know. I'll buy a round. Ever go to the Right Coast show in Syracuse? Sid
