Very kool project, I can't wait to see it brought back to life. Good luck!

    Happy Trails, Mick

  2. Nothing too cool, a bunch of old tools, some car parts, a couple plate toppers, home made hood scoops, etc. Neat stuff but nothing that screams "HOLY COW!" except an old 1932-1936 Ford V8 generator re-locator.

Yeah, that generator relocater is pretty sweet. Other stuff is nice too, though. Again, awesome score.

    Thanks for sharing more photos.

It appears that he was making the Ford into a Porsche and the Corvette was being converted into a Saab Sonnett.

Those odds and ends in the last few photos should net a few bucks on eBay, I always like that small easy to box and mail stuff.

Man you dont need that old worn out steering wheel but I do have a real nice lower and seat back cusions and springs for it if you need em:D

  14. I'm supposed to get into his basement tonight to get the interior and top. I have not seen any of it yet, but he claims it is very nice, recovered red and silver in the early 50's. He may also have more parts to the car down there he said. Keep your fingers crossed :D

The deal when I bought the car was I had to help him clean his garage out and get his Vette inside before I got the stuff in the basement...

  20. Great find Chris, I love the Toppers( Cleveland one is killer, my Dad is from there) Hope you get the basement goodies !

  21. Ok guys, just got back from Don's. He was not lying, he had the WHOLE interior in the basement. Well, everything but one seat back. He said he had the interior done in the early 50's (1950/1951 according to the license plate as he was sectioning it) and took it out after a couple months and started customizing the car. They went into the basement and have not seen light until today!!! The top is original I think, and nice. Top irons are chrome. Anyways, I have every panel for the interior...too bad it's for a stock bodied car and this one is now sectioned :D Also got the side windows and frames, also very nice. Found the grill, too!!! Anyways, thats it for the car...still do not know the fate but it did end up being a pretty good score!!!

    Wow! It gets even better!

Too bad the grille got mangled off the car.

I've got part of a 50's rodded 36 roadster interior that has the same colors, red and white. Must have been the "thing to do" to your 36 back then.
