    by far the BEST fabrication skill as well as design ability i have seen ,here and any where.its gonna be a shame if this gets painted, the work is just too good to be covered up.

    I like the exposed seams on the fabbed parts, like the headers and radius rods, all through out but porbably my favorite part is its right hand drive. excelent work

    I love this truck! Amazing work and great inspiration.

    It's actually pretty close, just by coincidence, to the pickup truck that I fantasized about building in the first place.

    I ended up moving my own build in a more tame direction...mild channel and no chop...for my own driving comfort...but damn...I think the kinked neck would be worth it!

    It's progressing nicely. I was lucky enough to see Mike's pick up last week. It's about to come apart for final detail work to make it a driver. Frickin' amazing! Every piece grabs your attention for it's simple form and function.

    THIS is when the HAMB makes me happiest.

    I'm sure there is a term for it, but like Kev said early on "think motorcycle frames". What is this called? Looks like sweated joints. Is Mike willing to tip his hand on this?

    Amazing.........

    I love his use of the "slip joint" (aka: bike frame tube coupling). I too, would love to hear how he melds the two pieces together.

    Everything about this car is bitchin. I am a stickler for quality fab work, and this thing is over the top. Love it!

    Can't believe I completely missed this.

    It's like the holy trinity.

    1. Really cool style and eye for design. (with a heavy nod to traditional cars)
    2. He's obviously a gifted fabricator.
    3. And most important: he knows when to stop.

    He took that single design element of a lugged joint and applied it wherever it fit... without forcing it where it doesn't. You can just tell the same guy had a vision for the whole build – not a mishmash of drilled stuff, belled holes, louvers, raw welds, blended welds, etc. (and don't get me wrong, some of my favorite old cars are complete mutts... but I think several "high design" modern builds miss the mark here)
