it's in the same shape as the sibbs hot rod willys. It has so many patches and pieces welded together that I think I'm going to call it "jigsaw". I'm going to defy typical willys rules and build a budget gasser, i hope! I did get a 12 bolt spool race rear and wheels for under $1000

Is this the car that had a post on here about a Craigslist deal, and some guy was threatening law suit???
    Thread was deleted.

Yes it's a coupe, but you've got your hands full. Good luck with it.

It looks like the same car that was posted before, didn't see the law suit threat though.

You should make it a Westergard styled custom instead of a gasser.. ive always wanted to see that done!

Yep, I see it's rough but yeah, it's still a willys coupe. I'd have bought it in a second. Someone is very lucky.

Nice buy. At least it is a steel 1/1 coupe, which beats the crap out of the plastic 1/25 ones that I have been stuck building!

Am I missing something here, the picture of the front end isn't a 1937 Willys. What's up??

Alot of people (probably 98%) don't like the 37 front end because they think their ugly so they swap them out to a 40 or 41 front end.

OK, I agree with that. Thought for a moment I had forgot what a 37 front end looked like. :p:p:p

This is it now. It doens't matter what you start with it's how it ends up is what is important. Great buy on your coupe. Best of luck with it.[IMG]

Great project coupe, not too many choices out there for a real steel Willys coupe.

I'm actually going to sell the flamed 1941 front end and go with a 1940.
