Wow! Thanks for all the kind words!! I wanted a pretty mild car that looked like it came out of the late 50's....maybe '57 or '58. I tried to keep everything from that era... The car is meant to haul my two son's around. One is 4 and the other is 2. They love the car! Here are some answers to questions....I hope I didn't miss anyone! I believe they were black on the '50 Monterey. I thought black looked a little better in my car.....and kind of sneaky! The tires are Firestone 7-10-15's with 3 1/4" whitewalls.....the same as the Sam Barris Merc. It's not the stock color...It's more of a burgandy and I'm not sure of the name....it was on the car when I bought it. I may have some pics....let me check. I used the one's from Juliano's. They had the larger mounting plates. I just used the recomended spacing included in the packaging. Thanks again fella's!
