55 chevy will front doors off a 4dr fit a 2 dr

my buddy has a 55 2 door bel air and we found a parts 55 chevy 4 door are the front doors off the 4 door the same as the doors off a 2 door will they fit fine or are they differnet Thanks..

 

Ummm the 4 door ones are a bit shorter... Am I on candid camera?

 

No they will not fit. 2 door doors are longer brother. Good luck on your search. 55 56 and 57 doors are the ones that you want.

Doors will fit,But you need to short car.

 

meanwhile back at the ranch...... the 4 doors doors (door^2, dori)could be used for donating patches and mechanism parts, but thats about it.

 

The only way this could even be considered serious is if he is asking about the wagons. Then it is a fairly legitimate question if you aren't familiar with them, but the answer is still no. Otherwise, it's definitely good for a chuckle.

The four door doors will work you just have to shorten the roof and wheelbase a little to match.
