Oh yeah, is it ever finished. Well, it still needs lotsa details and widgets but finished on a dragster means running. Running, as in a "feel'er out" pass or two, followed by a "smoke run" in the best '60s tradition. Then a hand-over to Lee for another smoker, for the same reason the second atom bomb was lit, to let the civvies know the first one was no fluke ....... and just because you can.

Gonna have to chisel the grins off their faces. :D

  7. it was SOOOOOOOO awesome to see this thing go down the track!!!!!!!!

i got some SUPER special footage of the car that i'll upload tomorrow when i get to the office and back to my high horsepower computer.

my hat is off to ya rocky.

i'd love to pitch in and help with the paint/pinstriping/lettering in any way i can. i LOVE the fact that you built an exhibition car just to go out and put on a show and get your jollies.

too rad. i kinda felt guilty leaving dragster jeff alone in the 'booth' but there was NO way i was going to miss this opportunity to catch this on film. way bitchin. cant wait til may!!!!

    That thing is so bitchin!

Sounds like you need some more gear in the back though, or is that only 2nd gear?

Yeah!! Just watched the video with the camera mounted on the roll bar! Like everyone said, seeing this build from the beginning and watching her smokin' the tires down the track is just the very definition of COOL!!! Congrats Rocky! Now we'll see how she'll look wearin' paint and pinstriping!
