The Jade Grenade at the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green!
They fired it up under the front of the Holiday Inn while my wife and I were standing next to and just behind the zoomies, Thought I would never breathe again. Yes it took my breth away! Gotta LOVE it though!

  7. There was a T-Bucket here in Wisconsin in the eighties that ran a blown Arias in it with zoomies. If seeing it didn't do it for me hearing it run did me in. That was one crazy frick'n bucket.

  8. This '69 Mercury Cyclone Gt. I've been obsessed for 9 years the last time I saw it driven by the owner. It went up for sale for 4 years, and got sold. I was sad to see it gone from that spot, I thought it was the last time. .but it wasn't.
Someone had purchased it from my town! But they are not doing anything with it.
I know its banged up, but I know where parts are. I've always wanted a muscle car.

I got one! After seeing xderelict's Hoodlum Speedster at the H.A.M.B. drags, I was speechless. Especially when I found out it is an all steel body!

  14. This first one would but the second one does in the way you mean.:D

It was as much the setting as it was the car, but as a teenager in the late 90's the bus I was sitting in was overtaken by a red and white 1957 Desoto 4dr ht, Not the most common car in the first place (google images can't find one), especially not in Norway (probably the only 4dr ht '57 in Norway), and this was in the winter, on wide-whites in slushy snow :O . Seeing the two stacks of triple taillights passing the bus was out of this world, and it's still one of my absolute favourite 50's cars.

  16. Always loved that car. Most of the old race cars at the NHRA museum will leave you speechless too.

  17. Every time I un-cap my lake pipes and open her up on a dirt road! It's so mind blowing that my knees shake!

I recently saw a Ferarri 458 Italia. What an amazing piece of machinery even if it is OT...

  23. This one did it for me, the answer to a boys model kit dreams and a loud mouth adults need to show off.

My Dad's 70's Chevy 1ton flatbed took my breath away once. I was working on it when it backfired and started flaming up through the carb, then this knucklehead freaked out and shot me and the engine with a fire extinguisher.
