Billetproof is back at Don Garlits Musuem of Drag Racing in 2012! The bitchin location that started it all. Because of limited space in Big Daddy's backyard we HIGHLY recommend that you pre-register. Once the field fills up thats it!! Pre-register and you are IN. The Swamp Kings are the host club, same great guys, now kicking more ass!!! Alan what is the billetproof rate at the sleep inn. I called tonight and the guy at the desk said he doe'snt know anything about it

 

I just called and the quoted rate is $199.00 a night. then I checked the on line rate and it verified the same. the day after the show it go's back to $ 79.00, needless to say I cant stay there and I'll have to look elseware.

the Billetproof rate is $99 at the Sleep Inn, thats what they told me.

The MicroTell across the street is $45.95

 

Hotel Update!!!! I just got off the phone with them this morning. Have my room reserved at $99. I cant wait. Going back to Garlit's is a great move .

I booked my rooms at the Sleep Inn. Got the BP rate of 99 bucks per night. The clerk was up to speed on the program.

 

Nice to see it return to Big Daddy's. I love this show!!

I just got off the phone with the sleep inn and I got a room for $ 99 like you said. Seems the guy last night was mis-informed. If anyone needs to call to book a room talk to Margot she is very helpful and knows the correct rate.

Good deal... glad to hear they got it straightened out. I think I may have caught them by surprise with the announcement, but told them to be ready for a ton of calls and that they would be booked up fast.

Alan, I think you can tell from the responses so far how happy this change of location has made everyone...............me included. The show had a cozy kind of feel to it when it was held there. Plus, there are things to do, like visit the museum and Don's personal stash at his garage sale.

I also won't mind the slightly shorter drive. I know it was only a lttle further to go to fairgrounds but that extra distance seemed painful for some reason.
