first time for me ever to be on a track and a wreck happened in my race...was shaking after that. i was thinking how happy i was you smoked me out of the hole! Glad you are OK, also glad your truck didnt take too much of a beating! Cant wait till next year!

 

great pics john! really hated to see that truck get beat up like that.. it really had me thinking when i got to the line.

 

^^^^I know just what you mean. That shit can really get in your head. Not always a bad thing though. I had to learn my respect the hard way and got real lucky. Still love racing though!

Thanks, man. The truck is already repaired, aside from the need for '32 rear bumper... and should have a replacement for that on Sunday (thanks, Garry). I also got some expert advice which suggests that my rear coilover pre-load likely contributed to the hard right when I shifted, so I'll get that sorted out before the next race.

Sorry about your mishap and im glad your okay .I was fixin to roll into the water box in that same lane behind you when your truck hit the wall.It looked pretty scarey from my view ,but im sure your view was more intense .I was kinda worried that you got into sum oil and was puckered when i went down the lane a few minutes later ...
