    Hello guys,

these days I made the brackets, I painted and installed.
I used all the existing holes on the frame without making new holes

Great idea on the bump stops to save your painted frame! Super clean build! I'm always motivated to work on my project after looking at your thread!

I bet you are going to turn alot of heads driving around in that! Looks good! Whats the classic car culture like over there? Is there alot of people into it or is there just a few who cruise around?

Lookin great! I can't belive this is the first time I've seen this build....

I am not pimpin' my build thread however I am building one as well....maybe something I did will help you along the line....(see my sig line).

ALSO you may want to check out the AD truckers group....LOTS of ideas there on that era of truck.

And BTW I would rather have a three window as well.....I just started out with one....you made one....DIG IT!

Hi, down here there is so much passion but little money :D.
Really like my project to anyone who sees .

Many of us who tend to nourish this passion we are getting
    closer to hot-rod '31-'32 and Ford '35-'39.

Also I'd like to start another project on Ford of those years but the money does not allow me. One thing you can do at a time, not two :).

    Many thanks. Frank Orula

Today I still put the cab on the chassis to make sure all was well
    before painting.
Everything perfect !!! The transmission does not touch, the distributor is
far enough away from the firewall and the pedal brake is at the heart of the old hole in the cab.

I am happy, that means I'm doing a really good job :)

WOW. Sharp as hell man. One question, wont those bump stops just get scraped off? I just have never seen anything like that. I would think if they were flat they would be ok.

Anyway, every thing looks fucking fantastic! Sorry for the foul langauge, but I dont think anything else will really say how nice this thing is going to look....

I love it when you get to the stage that more stuff is going on than coming off....That was a turning point for me....

On a different note, I wish my firewall had not been bashed to crap when I got my truck (hard driver side collision) I ended up having to cut my firewall out and totally smoothed it....I really really like the look of the cleaned up and smoothed stock firewall.....keep up the most excellent work!

Shadams, sorry, but do not always understand English well :). You mean the bump stops so as not to touch the frame to the ground?

Thanks for the compliments, it's always nice to receive :)

WOW!!! Great job man. You are inspiring and never let up. gonna be a really cool truck when all done. I know everyone else thinks its crazy to make it a 3 window cab. But I am with you. I think the corner windows have always seemed like such an after thought. kinda like trying to put a sunroof in it. yuck.

    Keep up the hard work!

Thanks Slamit, I'm glad you think like me about 3 window conversion :).
I'll try to do my best, I'm looking forward to enjoying this truck
but I must say that despite the job, I'm having so much fun :)

Hi RatPin, steel wheels you see in the photos are temporary and are of a BMW 3 Series, 16x7", 5x120 bolt pattern. For my truck I bought some Wheel Vintiques shown in this photo:
    Thanks

  27. I really like this build! Man BMW wheels huh? I didn't even realize that they had Chevy 5 lug bolt patern! What year are they??
Can't wait to start my own AD 4 window build!! (Panel) Just need to clear the damn garage.
    Keep this fantastic work going!

Hi Klaus, I believe it is 2006 but this has any bmw 5x120 bolt pattern . Chevy bolt pattern is 5x4.75 or 5x120.65, in fact the Bmw wheels do not fit perfectly for Chevy.

    Thanks

  29. DAMMIT! I like them! Would look cool on the Panel truck!
