I had some GREAT times in the late sixties/early seventies at the drags, here in Los Angeles. Lions, OCIR , Irwindale, Pomona, Ontario Motor Speedway. The people I've met throughout the years and the cars, are part of the very fabric of the times. Very special.
So, when I was at the California Hot Rod Reunion last year,with the sixties dragboats, pitted three spaces from where Pam Hardy with a "Jungle Jim" car was, I had to ask if she'd mind posing for a photo with me, and she very sweetly obliged.

Pam stopped posting in this discussion, and on this forum, after an inappropriate remark was made about her. It can't find the remark, so apparently it was removed. Maybe Pam just ran out of things to say and the timing was coincidence. I hope that's not the reason she stopped participating here.
