I prefer 'action' shots instead of static shots...here's my submissions...

No kidding. That's why the deadline is always post-Pileup. This part isn't so bad though. Going through the 200-300 top pics that I have pulled over the course of the two weeks and trying to narrow it down... that's when it gets rough. But with the format staying the same this year, I already have the months themselves built and ready for the corresponding photo. My wife gets on me every year for changing the format and making it that much harder on myself. She's pretty pleased this time. Hahaha!

Some great shots so far. There are a couple that have been posted so far that are a shoe-in.

Chris Casny, I LOVE that first shot, but damn dude, your car was in it last year. Give someone else a try. Hahahaha! And posting a '36 Ford shot is cheating.

The worst part every year is on the first pass ending up with about 25 pre-war blackwalled Ford coupe and roadster photos and knowing that I can't in good conscience make it ALL Fords.

Here's my submission for the 2012 H.A.M.B. calendar ... a poorly-composed, B&W, VERTICAL, low-resolution cell-phone pic of my friend's Shar-Pei posing with (Oakland Raiders running back) Darren McFadden's DONK:




I also have some pics of McFadden's (purple with lime green top & interior) DONK at the local cruise night ... but unfortunately, they are all well-composed, COLOR, HORIZONTAL shots ...
