After I got my model A on the road with a '63 283 with duntov 30 30, corvette covers ect..... to 95% of car guys it is just a SBC and nothing you can do about that, only maybe 5% actualy see casting marks, heads ect... and know, even with a moter like yours plenty more traditional and bad ass than my 283, it might as well be a 307 as far as they know or care to know. Very cool car by the way, love the moter choice keep us posted.

 

Guy's, we're all having fun reminiscing about Jeffy's balls, let's not forget this is seriously going to be a fun little engine. Kidding aside, this thing should be a little revver and pretty exciting. I just hope he can use his ginger balls to figure out a way to put this power to the ground!

I want to see this thing pull up to the shop!!!!!!!!

 

Especially with that junker 3-speed tranny. I heard a 700 r4 is an easy swap behind those modern small block chebbies...

 

That's it, I'm over this thread. If you want to see the 350/700r combo and the HEI ignition as well as my ginger spice latte testicles then you can come to Jalopyrama and check it out, I should be somewhere in that collection of cars if everything goes right.

And to think you guys were this close to seeing another 20 parts being chromed including garnish moldings. Fuck faces.

As for pics, I didn't take any really. In fact I think I only took a few the past few months. I'm sure once I get the car rolled out of the garage I can snap a few and let you guys see how it looks after a couple months of hard work.



Brett, don't be so sure you'll see it because I can't seem to get a firm brake pedal and I have an oil leak so I wouldn't be surprised if I miss another GoodGuys since I am tapped and just don't have the cash to address the issue such as the fact that it has no shocks still!!!
