Throttlers of Gary, Indiana?

I've an old Throttlers car club plaque from Gary, Indiana and am guessing it's from the 50's early 60's.
Anyone know anything about the organization...I grew up in Gary and would like to hear from any old members.

Thanks, doubt the club is still 'intact' considering the condition of Gary today. I was born in '51 so had some great times there as a kid in 'The Region'....would be cool to find out about the club.

If it is, it was made by Chicago Metal Craft in the 1950/60's and the club ordered plaques at least twice. That's all I can tell you...
