the block is at the machinist, fair bit of work to go in to it, 4in crank, ross pistons,1.6 valve's. the engines getting blue printed and all that jazz.
the chassis is now done, tig welded the boxing plates, engine mounts, steering box, ext.
big thanks to kardinal gareth again for the help,

waiting on the rods for the motor, thats slowing it down some, also the yoke for the diff won't be here for 2 weeks so that will make the tailshaft tight, i ordered the wrong one with to many splines.......

Great project. Are those 46 48 type front wishbones turned downside up? Or are they a special bit of the fabrication too?

little bit special... using an 'A' wishbone at the ball end to get some clearance around the sump, just the cast bit, then the 46 48 wishbones with a little bit milled off the end so i could use the stock 'A' spring perch's and shocks.

it runs, pity the gearbox adaptor is a fat heap of shit, as soon as it started you could hear the clutch arm things coming in to contact with the bell housing, so off with the box again to clearance it, arggggggg. done now.
master cylinder is not to flash also.
but we live in hope, off to the tailshaft man monday, thats not the type you go to tho humanfly.

well........ i got the tailshaft made today so thats in and good, got to love a guy that will make it on the spot for you.
finished the last off the rearend stuff, few bolts and fluids.
did up some wiring for the starter and put my thickston intake on as theres no way to run the belts with the other intake(no gennie mount).
started it up:D then i had to come home to look after the 'yabbi' so thats it for today, in to it early tomorrow so by the end off the day i hope to have driven it at least 1 meter:eek:
