    Here are 2 more pics from the TX Panhandle, both from 1931. One from Dumas showing the elevators at the S. end of town and the other from the town of Etter, about a mile from where I lived as a kid. My grandmother lived about a block from that track for 30+ years. That huge water tank was still there when I was a kid. That picture looks like it was taken close to the station, which was a really neat old building. A bunch of immigrant punks burned it down in the late 70s. I spent lots of time around that station when I was a kid.

    I knew that was the wrong spelling right after I posted it. He was born Ingram Connor, his real dad was WWII ace.

    Carlton, this is GREAT. :) He obviously followed his own lights in creating
    an original machine. :cool: Can you take a decent WAG at the year:rolleyes: this would
    have taken place, maybe judging from the young age of your cousin(?)
