History Car Race in Finland 1948

Hey guys, look this video from Elaintarhan Ajot ( Zoo Garden Race ) . It is taken in 1948 and you see what kind of racecars was in here in 20-50's

My father was watching this competition on . He was nine years old at that time. Also always in later years he was on the spot. So yes ,I would and I do, if this race still be driven with these same car's and bike's.
But it is no longer such''dangerous''car races, run in the middle of the trees . This was certainly a lot subtler than the track competitions with protected-areas etc. These kind of ''golden days'' newer come back i'm afraid .

 

More than 71 thousand people was looking this race !!!!!! in 1948 at there !!!

 

car number 19 is still there. I've seen it in the late 90's. Then it was the right project, but now again lost one. But i know it is somewhere in finland .
