I'll pass this along as well. I used to go to the earlier ones when I was a kid, but missed last years cause I was being stupid. Are you going to do any raffles possibly? Taking donations of any sort?

 

we will do a 50/50 raffle and an auction of donated items.........the park charges $8 per car, and if you have a "special" car and want to park it in the "cool" section it will be an additional $10. this event is for everyone to enjoy-bring the family! We fire up all the barbeques and you bring your own meat to cook and a side dish to share.....friends and cool cars it what it's about....last year I just used word of mouth to let everyone know and within 6 weeks time we had 174 cars & about 400 people .....this year will big bigger, guaranteed! :-D

 

I missed his Birthday Picnic but I won't miss this one.

I have known rod for alot of years he lived in nor cal and would show up at the SANTA ROSA SWAP MEET selling ROD AND CUSTOM mags he is the coolest of COOL i would always him about my 3w coupe that i sold to Harvey gerszewski in 1979 from Salinas cal i did buy it back in 1994 and put it all back together.

Sweet thats around the corner from my house! Friday night should be awesome, hopefully I can make it to check out my buddy Eric's art!

 

Man I wish I lived closer. Just obtained some of Rod's artwork and consider it a real treasure. Not only is he a very talented guy he is a real down to earth genuine nice guy.

Rod Powell...always one of the best ! Spent some quality time with him at Starbird's a number of years ago, wish I could be out there to enjoy it on the 8th.

this event is for everyone- any specialty car or bike, in any condition is welcome .....
the County charges a fee of $8/per car to enter the park, an additional fee of $10 will be collected at the show area for those who wish to enter a car (entry includes a dash plaque) .....bring your family, friends AND if you have a car or bike you want to show off CRUISE IT!!!
there are plenty of picnic tables, but you may choose to bring folding"camping" chairs as well.......
THERE WILL BE A RAFFLE AND AN AUCTION - DONATIONS OF ITEMS GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!!!

Casa Sorrento Restaurant will be providing food and beverages for sale for those of you who can't or don't want to participate in the "potluck picnic" , which means bring all of your own stuff- and a side to share ~ the grills will be hot !!

 

Can some of you bring out the old photo albums to this show? Kinda like a double dip! Thank-you.
