That's the best lookin 49 Buick I've ever seen!! From the first pics with no side view I first thought it was a 49 Chebby Fleetline! Great job and will be great fun!
FANTASTIC custom Kartsa. "Subtile" with so much detail body work, and perfect flow all around. Can't wait to see it finished.
Congratulations !! That has come a long way. I like the color. Send us some pix when you get it out in the sunlight.
Thats some workmanship to proud of. Very nice looking car and a real atention geter. Have a great time with her
Yesterday I was boogering a muffler back onto my '64 Olds (after I'd smashed it off getting it onto my trailer) and I thought I'm a pretty good fabricator. Now I see this guy and I realize that I'm just another no-talent poser ass-clown with an old car. Nice work, what engine you got in there?
You make me blush over here.Thank you all for your kind words. Engine is SBC.And that will be final color some day.It is Titian Red
I really like the final color ! The glow is unbelievable and these are just small areas.Just imagine how it will look on the whole car.Your '49 Buick is going to be a very, very tasteful car with just like Rikster already said, subtle body mods and you are right in the process of "writing" Custom Car history...
Beautiful car! I think thats got to be my favorite custom....it makes me want to build something swoopy and graceful. It will look incredible in that titan red color although Its such a tasteful and understated car I'd go with gloss black.
I was wondering if I was missing something on the paint, like where's the clear coat. Personally I hope you show off your talented body work with a real paint job. But like they say to each their own.
I'm going to have it painted eventually. But first I have to have bumpers chromed and interior finished and so on.Shiny paint will come last.
Dang that's beautiful. Somebody told me that started off as an 8 door airport limo, any truth to that?
Kartsa- My appreciation for your work is not enough,by just saying it-thats got PERFECT Continuity of line form.........I love it!
That is some of the best custom work I have seen in a long time. You need to come across the pond and open shop dude.
It's stunning, but I think it needs to be shiny and have chrome bumpers, and yes I know, chrome's very expensive. Shiny paint will bring out the lines that flat keeps invisible. It's one hell of a beautiful ride.
