What are you using for a Steering Box?

I don't know how I missed this one the first time around but WOW what an incredible build.

 

That's a Mopar steering box, there's a few good threads on here regarding this box for a economical way to do sprint style steering without breaking the bank. They work really well and the ratio is perfect(and you don't have to reverse it either) as long you stick to a pitman arm length between 5 and 7 inches, I made this pitman 6".

 

You have just shown the world how a model a should be built, GREAT work.

Beautiful work but one question. Where I live at that chassis height I could never get in and out of my driveway, Will this get raised before hitting the road and is this more for show than go ? Maybe the roads here are just that more crappier than they are there Either way looks killer.

Sweetness!! Impressive craftsmanship and attention to detail. Great stance! Love the pitman through the crossmember; my chassis guy pulled a similar trick with the two parallel links on my '53 Bel Air, mounting the forward ends inside the framerails at the start of the upsweep just ahead of the notch. Enjoying the thread & anxious to see the final results.
